Materials: Fiddleback bigleaf maple and Indian ebony with inlaid minerals. Finished with metal-acid dyes and musical instrument lacquer.

Comment: In December, 2007 Southwest Art magazine selected a dozen artists for recognition as "innovators in their mediums". I was their pick of the most innovative wood art of the year. This piece was selected for publication. The piece was acquired by a private collector through del Mano Gallery at the 2007 Small Treasures show at the same gallery in L.A., CA.
