Materials: Curly-figured bigleaf maple and recycled ebony guitar fingerboards with inlaid translucent minerals. Powdered mica lining. Finished with metal-acid dyes and musical-instrument lacquer.

Comment: This is a second effort at translucent open half-moon forms. This piece is lined with powdered gold mica to bring top-lighting to the translucent frontal design.
