Description: A 3.5" diameter sphere-box with chased threads made from bigleaf maple by Dale Larson with the continents inlaid using mineral crystals by Stephen Hatcher. The wood is dyed blue and the mountains accented with metallic white acrylic paint. The clouds and polar caps are airbrushed while acrylic paint. The finish is musical instrument lacquer.
